I got a new laptop with Windows 8 for Christmas and I can't connect to anyone else's LAN. I realized this when my brother opened his LAN and my cousins connected but I couldn't. When I open my LAN they can connect. We do not share the same account. Anyone have any idea what is causing this problem?

Same, I can't connect either. Maybe if both computers are windows 8, it might owrk that way.
