Hello, my friend can not connect to a working server that he has been on before. When he tries to connect he gets the java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: no further information message. Again, he has been on the server before and he also is using the correct version and ip. I know that he is not banned/ip banned bc I am an admin on the server. He is also whitelisted. I have tried researching the problem but I have only seen stuff about hamachi servers. The server is 1.7.9 and is hosted by hosthorde. Please help! Let me know if I need to provide any extra info.

This didn't help; my friend has been using 100% vanilla mc and again he has been able to connect before, even with optifine. Thank you for the help though... Hopefully we can resolve this soon.
This is an error on the client side. It most likely is related to you attempting to send to many packets to the server. Relog with no mods and 1.7.9 at a time when your network is under less stress. Cheers!
