I Can Connect To My Server But My Friends Can't?

I recently created a server and I can only connect to it using localhost. My external IP will not work for me or my friends. The server is hosted from my computer and has no portforwarding issues. I have taken down the firewall for port 25565 on Windows 8 and Norton 360. Please Help!
