Can't install CraftBukkit 1.7.2 jar on MultiCraft!
Hi, i have been wanting to update my server which runs on multi craft to bukkit for a long time, but when i tried to upload my jar onto the ftp client connected to my server, the loading bar for my internet would freeze and it would just stay there. i've seen people reply to this kind of topic on other forums saying "have an FTP client" but the problem is that i already have one! could someone please help?

hey wait, but on my restrictions it says:
Restrictions
The maximum size of one file is 100 MB (total 100 MB)
The maximum upload time is 30 seconds
If the destination file already exists, it will be overwritten
And the bukkit im trying to upload is 20 mb.
yet it still freezes?

If that doesn't work, the only other way would be with a different FTP client such as the ones listed above. If you have SSH you can wget it, if you have Ubuntu/CentOS/etc., but most likely you're with a game server provider.
How did the FTP client fail? Mind posting the error or what it is said when you try connecting?

Whenever i try to connect using Filezilla on the quick connect bar, i put in my ftp info, and it says the connection is refused by server. i dont understand, i put in the info to connect and it wont let me in.
Does it use sFTP? Try adding sftp:// before your host IP/domain.
Thanks ill try to use it. having trouble setting the client up though.
It uses net2ftp and the only jars i find in the drop down menu are:
default
default minecraft server
mod: craftbukkit
mod: craftbukkit beta
mod: craftbukkit development build 1.6.4
mod: tekkit (requires additional setup)
optimized minecraft server
when i found it doesnt have 1.7.2, i decided to download it with the ftp client into my jars folder.

What FTP client are you using?
Also, there might be CraftBukkit 1.7.2 already available on your control panel, check the dropdown menu for the JAR file, but it depends on your host.
