CAN'T JOIN ANY SERVERS!!!

Please help me when I type in a 1.6 server it says 1.5.2 x, every single server I've tried has done this, it might be a stupid question but please help, I spend half my time on Minecraft servers!!!

1.6 Shouldn't even be possible unless its a vanilla server. Bukkit is still jammed on 1.5.2...
Very Simple. Here are things you have to do
1. Press the Minecraft Launcher
2. Near the Login, There will be an "options" button Click That
3. Press "force update"
If That Dosent Work, You are Running Minecraft out of the 1.6 Snapshot. Download Minecraft on the official site

1.6 Server? The only way a server could be 1.6 is if they were running it off of the snapshot.
