I CAN'T MAKE NEW WORLDS??!

So I have had this problem since the day before I posted this. On my own PC computer (It is a windows 7 Professional, 32 bit with default graphics card, if that helps) I have not been able to create a new world. When I try, it says building terrain. Then, it changes to the Downloading terrain screen and it never moves on from there. I have to Alt + F4 my way out. This has never happened before (I have had the computer since last Christmas) and all the worlds I have made beforehand and multiplayer servers have all loaded in fine when I went on them. I even got on another computer in the network, and it worked fine. It is only my PC. Pleaase help!!

your render distance might be too high if its at anything higher then 8 its too laggy when creating the world because its proccessing the chunks and reading the code for the seed so try lowing it and if it still doesnt work try doing what the others said
What version of minecraft are you using?
Check if you have any disc space left. Or allocate more RAM. You didn't give much information so it is harder to figure out.
Have you tried deleting Minecraft and re-installing it?
