Can't Play Online?

Hey people, I just opened up minecraft, and saw for 5 minutes straight, "Play offline" Could someone help?
Error:

Trying to log in...

Couldn't go online

It is a known bug,
Press logout and then log in again
Press logout and then log in again
Follow These Steps
1: New Profile
2:Name It Latest
3:Make The Release 1.6.2 (Easier Keep it the same this For Use Version)
4:Press Save Profile
5:Switch to that profile
6:Type In password And Username (or) Email

Ok I tried this because I am having the same problem but now I have a new and far worse one.
Now it says that I can't connect to minecraft servers and it won't sign me in at all. Why is this?
