get all the protection you need and DONT CARE if they say they did not cheat and also if they were detected as cheaters then thats there problem

It's a common sprint glitch.
Honestly, it might not be cheating OR lag. I see this on myself every once in a while, even when everything is running smoothly.
NCP does not pick up people moving too quickly. I've had kids get on using fly speed enhancers, and they just wizzed around like nothing. Anticheat is the best for catching people, but it's also way too sensitive. You kind of just have to make cheat decisions for yourself, really.. If you feel that he was cheating, let him know that it's not allowed. If he gets caught doing anything cheatery, move to the punishment.

Most of the time, when you tell someone to stop hacking, they'll leave the server for a bit, rejoin, and say "i deleted the hack" or something like that. But, they haven't.

As a past mod on several servers this was super common.

Thanks, we have NCP but it isnt very reliable, he definitly wasnt lagging but I think I scared him enough to uninstall it
If you're worried about hackers install a plugin such as anticheat or nocheatplus.
Get nodus and try yourslef xD
Either lag, or a common sprint hack.
It wasnt lagging and the person beside him was fine. Also, what does the speedhack do since we have ctrl and can NCP pick it up?

You can't possibly know if he was lagging or not.
Just because the server isn't lagging, doesn't mean his internet (or yours) isn't.

Lag is often client-side. It's more likely this person had a crap connection and that's what was happening.
It's most likely lag.
