I was going to start up a small server for a friend and myself using just the vanilla Minecraft_Server.exe file from minecraft.com. But then I got this message...
[WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!

2013-03-12 16:00:54 [WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?
Can anyone explain what's going on?!? I've checked and there is no one using the IP.

Are you sure all processes of java is closed?
If you're unsure, just restart the computer and try again.
