I can't stay connected to any server.
Over the last few weeks, my internet has been really buggy and I can't play minecraft multiplayer because of it. Although I can see the server stats, I can't stay connected. I immediately get a disconnected from server message. You tube won't load either Websites come up just fine though. I think it has something to do with streaming. Please help

Streaming videos takes the most of your network resources. Loading a website takes less.
Best way to get things clarified is by contacting your ISP if this issue still persists.

I'm going to assume that you're using windows, if not, none of the following is going to work. Anyways, I'm guessing that it's a resource management issue; time to see what's hogging your connection.
The first item on the list is the biggest offender for eating up the connection. If you're not sure about something (and you don't want to remove it), then post any relevant entries here.
Anyways, if this isn't the issue, then it could simply be some bottleneck elsewhere, or possibly something else. If you have any other relevant info (or better yet some kind of logs), then please post them.
- Open up the start menu, and search for the program called "resmon.exe".
- Once the resource monitor has loaded, go to the "Network" tab.
- Sort the applications by "Total (B/sec)"
