Can't join modded singleplayer world. It says im joining multiplayer.

Every time i try join my survival modded world (1.12.2), it says "A fatal error has occurred, this connection is terminated" and sends me to the multiplayer join screen. I've restarted my minecraft and pc multiple times and no change. Its only the one world though.
