The launcher opens normally, then when you click play, minecraft opens up. Then the progress bar gets stuck near the end, soon after it stops responding it pops up with the message 'Java(TM) platform SE binary is not responding'. I've tried reinstalling the launcher, java, the latest video card driver and minecraft, nothing works. This may be because I installed i windows update, but I doubt it. Please help!

Run a scan, remove any malware found, restart the computer, and see if Minecraft launches then.
