Cant connect to own server

PLEASE HELP! ok so me and my friend went to play on my bukkit server today because i port forwarded a few days back. Everything was fine when i closed my server and went to another server to see if my friend was online. He was not so i re opened my server but i just could not connect. nor to any other server. i was like "Ok let me just reboot my PC". That did not work. I then thought maybe the internet is messed up so i unplugged and re plugged in the router. That did not work. Now i was nervous. I turned off the computer and went out to mow the lawn. I came back glad to see that i could connect to other servers fine. But when i went to my server... IT WAS NOT WORKING!
I then re port forwarded but still nothing. I have the correct ip address and i have the firewall exception for port 25565 on. I looked everywhere and i cant find an answer. Me nor my friends can connect. i uninstalled all my plugins and nothing happened. I then opened my vanilla server because maybe something was wrong with bukkit itself. But no. The only idea i have is that it is a temporary problem with my internet but i doubt that. The mojang website says Minecraft sessions are up and running. Please help if anyone knows the answer!
