Cauldron Server Crash

Hi,
So i have made a modpack for 1.7.10 and i wanted to make a server for me and my freinds to play on using cauldron so we had essentials etc. I can load the server without any mods but when i add them in, I get this:

Sorry message never sent: I get the error with or without any mods in the mods folder (including and excluding client e.g. Optifine)

what? the server is showing optifine trying to be loaded, thats a big no no, optifine crashes servers
