Change Directory
Alright, let's get right down to the question...
I know there are ways to make it so you can change the .minecraft folder directory using .bat files or editing the .jar file for Minecraft...
But is there any way to just change the actual programming?
Like seriously, for many of us that play this from a library or school or something... either the %appdata% is blocked off and/or .bat files do not work.
For me, at my library at least... both the %appdata% is blocked off and the use of .bat files is restricted only to admins, that being said; how exactly can I change the loading and saving directory... that way I can continue to use my mods and other minecraft stuff?
[I'm using MinecraftSP by 818 from the website minecraft-sp.net] (the website is currently down, so if you want the download for the program; feel free to ask, I can't seem to find anyone else who plays it... so I guess I'm just an outcast when it comes to this)
But seriously, I've been playing this for quite a while... I have about 10 mods that all work perfectly together and don't cause any issues in the game, but sadly; because I am no longer going to my college, I can no longer access the %appdata% or even a .bat file.
So, is there some other kind of alternative to this?
I would use a .jar file, but for some reason... every computer I use won't even open the jar file.
[I also don't own a computer, so that doesn't help any -_-]

Question...
Would it be possible to get a program such as ResEdit or some other exe editor to view the internal workings of the program, thus using looking specifically for the directory placement C++ or something?
Like, I'm no program editor or anything... but I figure all you would have to do is change wherever it said %appdata% or appdata in the program to a new location?
Since the program wants to place all information into the appdata folder, why not just edit the program to place all the information into a different location?
It honestly can't be that difficult, now all I need to do is find an exe editor.
