Chat Button Problem ( Help! )

Everytime I start minecraft, my chat button restarts. I need to go to the options to change it back. How to I fix this from happening?

yeah.. i don't think there's a fix for that, i had it /w my optifine settings.

When I run minecraft, the chat button doesnt have any assigned button so whenever I open minecraft, I need to assign a button for it.
