Checking what plugins are installed on a server

Hi,

I just wondered if there was a way of seeing a list of plugins for a server you are currently connected to. Not client side but server side mods. A server I'm currently playing on has a few mods I'd like to use in a private server with friends but not able to get any infomation from server staff.

In my research I have seen its possible but not a way that I think I can achieve myself. Any suggestions?
