Hi, Do Chunk Loaders (plug ins and vanilla) work for entities such as items??

Most chunk loaders cause unneccessary lag and are unneccessary.
A 16*16 chunk area is always loaded around the spawn.
That means, that you can access blocks with /clone in that area...always.
12*12 chunky area around the spawn is always loaded and also loads entities.
In most cases people need loaded chunks for permament redstone clock processes or for entity stocks, for which the spawn chunks are more than enough.
You can find more information about spawn chunks by searching for it on www.minepedia.com

LogalicioustuffItems in loaded chunks will be loaded as well, so if the item is in a loaded chunk, it will de-spawn in 5 minutes. But if you drop and item, leave the area, then come back, it will still be there, but it will resume it's timer for how long it was there.
If that is not what you asked for, please let me know.
not really, im asking that if u have a chunk loader, and you have and item such as blaze rod, if u have a chunk loader in that chunk will the item be able to move such as being thrown from a dispenser
