what i was saying was referring to someone trustworthy...yes obviously dont give access to your servers crucial files to someone you dont know...i figured that was an unspoken duh. my point is...the best plugins come from close and first hand contact with the other plugins that you have...the process is going to be much slower if you have to explain every time something goes wrong...and its very easy to get a java decompilier or obfuscator, to check for malicious code...and McMyAdmin has settings that allow you to set accounts for who can access your console...and you can limit what they do...which is good for dev teams to read errors within console without having to worry about them hacking, modding, corrupting or OPing. very simple...find a good programmer..let him submit some of his work to you..you test it on a copy of ur server...run it thru an obfuscator, if its clean put it in ur plugins and allow him to see console....but not utilize it.

and u cannot sue him unless you make a legally binding contract which has been signed in front of a notary.

So id say my argument is completely valid...if you had your mind made, why even post this?

well you could always just send your coder a copy of the file you want altered, then he/she codes it to your liking then sends it back and you paste the file over the original one, but i dont recommends this because of one main thing, part of a coders job is debugging, meaning fixing bugs, more than likely say you have a coder making you a custom plugin....more than likely there is going to be flaws in the code on the first try, which if he does not have direct access to those error logs, he cant see whats wrong, and youd have to tell him everytime making this process slower and less efficient, if you are going to trust someone coding things for your server you might as well give him console access.
