Command block exeption for a maximum score?

So if you are good with command blocks and scoreboard, you know you can do this:
testfor @a[score_scoreboard objective_min=#]
But is there a selection for a maximum? I tried replacing min with max, but that didn't work. So what is the selection for a maximum score? Btw I'm not spamming, I'm just putting this in the right category.
