Hello, I own a server, and I just updated a few plugins, including essentials, no I can't do just /gm to change my game mode, and now all the skins look like steve, are the skins messed up on the Minecraft servers, or did I do something to mess up my personal server?

I can change game mode with the command, /gm creative mattssn, but i used to be able to just do /gm, I have also noticed since I updated essentials, when people are returning to the server, they are going straight to spawn and not the area they were at when they left the game..
Minecaft (since 1.3) has had a lot of glitches including steve skins and that. It is glitching and have you got permissions (if so your perms are stuffed) if not make sure your op.
I should also add I just updated Essentials, didnt delete the plugin folders, could that mess something up
