Hello
I am having problems with my daughter connecting to my world via LAN.
I have checked that all mobs are the same and the version is 1.4.7, I have restarted both computers.
I have even used my laptop to check it out and I can even access my world on my desktop which has the same stuff as my daughters PC.
So I would like some pointers to know what to do.
Cheers

Most likely your firewall is preventing access for minecraft to connect.
While I do not recommend people turn their firewalls off while their router is connected to the internet, that is a way you can check to see if that is the problem. Make sure you turn your firewall back on before connecting your router to the internet.

Try downloading Hamachi and look up tutorials on how to set up a Hamachi server aint as good connection but it should work, or if not type in google - Free Minecraft Server Host theres this website at the top where it can host a 4 slot server for you and its for free but if you want Plugins you have to pay but the prices are minimum, Hope I helped
Just try both running 1.5.2, make sure you are both on the same network, or just use a spare pc to run a local server and connect with "localhost"
