Does anyone know anyway of copy/pasting text wit worldedit? I know you used to be able to do it .. I think in 1.5.1 ... but I haven't been able to since then, and I really need to.

Oh sorry, to copy and paste text, just hold down the shift button, and hold down the left/right arrow key to make a selection, then do control+c to copy the selection, the to place the text, control+v where ever you want to
You can do it with mcedit, but I'm not too sure about world edit, maybe just make a selection do //copy then //paste, and any other parameters you would like
