Ok now i'm home hosting a server and i was wondering if someone could tell me how to give the server more ram that it can use and more Cpu.
Sepc's about my computer
3.00 gb (2.75 useable)
I really want to give my server more ram to use so i can use more plugins you know to stop the hackers and that bull crap that trolls do to players.
Hope someone anwser that know what they are doing

the only way to give your computer more ram is to buy ram sticks which are usually 50 to 100 dollars depending non how much and what motherboard you have. a way to reduce how much ram you computer is using is press windows key + R type msconfig and hit enter. then go to the startup tab and uncheck anything thats not essential then restart your computer. be careful you could screw it up
You can edit the start.bat if using windows the start.command if using linux and something for mac.
You edit the xml and xms or xmx idk which but change the 1gb to like 1500M on both sides or anything you want and be aware if hosting at home your comp will slow down with the ram adding and you must have a good CPU for it to not be super laggy.
