So I have created a Bukkit server in the past, paid for a host, etc. I cancelled it because it was simply a fail, now I am going to start again since I'm not a dumb 14 year old anymore.
I have downloaded the craftbukkit.jar and minecraft server (I'm not sure if you need this.)
The Bukkit forum thing says to "2. Put the .jar file in the directory you'd like the server to run from."
I don't know how to do that? How can I run my server world, even though it is empty. When I finish this step and load the world, can I begin adding plugins and creating spawn? I will be able to pay for a server host, the domain name and all that. I just need help with this then I will be able to do the rest.
Thanks for you help

Its actually really easy.
1: Make a new folder and name it what ever you want.
2: put the jar file in the folder and make sure it is named craftbukkit.jar
3: make a notepad file and put this in it;
4: save as start.bat this should make it into a cmd batch file
double click on it and the server should load and start up.
Hope this helped
