Custom Door Frame Problem
Hi, i have recently been making some models for my resource pack, and i am testing with some models that might be a bit more detailed than the regular ones.
But right now i am having an issue with this door model. I decided to make a frame around it that would add some detail around where it is placed, but when placing a double door the frame gets in the way. Does anyone have any ideas on how i could fix this issue while still keeping the door frame?. Thanks.

Not directly, but looking at how fences use block states to determine what to contect to and/or what shape to take might shed light on the problem.
(Side note: I would think you would also need to change the door itself for each half of a double door if there is not to be a noticable crack between them.)
Please post the solution if & when…

I forgot to mention that this resource pack is meant for a map i am making, so keeping that in mind i was able to find a temporary solution a couple of minutes ago:
I started using the Cullface feature in Blockbench, and i was able to make the middle section of the door frame disappear every time the door model is touching another solid block, which makes the double door work perfectly. And if i want to bring that section of the door frame back for the single door, what i have to do is just add Glass blocks around the door instead, as Cullface does not work with it. It's not ideal but if i have to i can just change the texture of the glass block to match the other blocks in my wall.
