Custom join message
I downloaded a plugin called ColoredTexts for my bukkit server and it has the option to have custom join/leave messages.. however I can't figure out how to get a players name to appear before the join message.
I've tried:
{PLAYERNAME}
%PLAYER%
If someone could tell me how to get player names to show that would be great!

None of those work, I must be doing something wrong. I even tried {DISPLAYNAME} which is what is says in the essentials group manager config, which seems to work for that. :/
Most probably, you shall set it as '{PLAYER}'.
It could be %TARGET% or {TARGET} or just {PLAYER}/{USER}
