Custom resource pack doesn't work properly.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I tried making a custom resource pack but the items I retextured (which are the 4 torches, if that helps figure out the issue) don't appear any different in game.
Weirdly enough, the problem seems to be in the textures themselves. I tried to copy+paste a texture from a different resource pack I have installed into my custom one and it worked just fine.

Change "item" folder name to "block", you also don't need that alone redstone_torch_off texture in textures folder
I really couldn't remember something as simple as "torch textures are blocks"-
