So I've made a custom resource pack. When you open it has the 'assets' file with everything in it. Though when I place it in the 'resourcepacks' folder in the '.minecraft' folder, it doesn't show up when I load up Minecraft!

I found out the problem. I didn't have the 'pack.mcmeta' file. I placed one in and it works!
