Default Texture Pack
Can anyone direct me to something that is the default textures so i can make multiple cow textures?

You can download the default texture pack from here: http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/resource-starter-pack/
Then drag it to your resource packs folder and edit it from there.

Go into your .minecraft folder (run %appdata% on Windows, User>Library>Application Support>Minecraft) and then go into versions and 1.7.2 or whatever version you want for the pack
Use a Compression Application (7zip, WinRAR, Keka, Archive Utility) to turn the 1.7.2.jar into a folder
The assets folder contains all the files in a texture pack
Your pack folder will need to contain a pack.png (thumbnail image), a pack.mcmeta (the text near the thumbnail) and the assets folder
