A known issue, a spam bug with no known fix. It's annoying when you join a server, or run a server like me, and you type 1 thing and get kicked for disconnect.spam. 1 message, 2 messages, 3 commands, anything you type you can get kicked for. Seriously? I feel for my server users, I know what it's like to be that annoyed. Anybody find a fix for this yet?

What are you running your server with? Bukkit, Spigot etc.?

Do you have any anti-spam plugins that could be causing it?
