Doesn't recognize MOTD

Would an Admin PLEASE help me, i don't know what is wrong with it but i would seriously like some help. I've messaged two staff members who were online with no reply just please help me.

Ive tried all of these things i disabled my plugins entered the message restarted the server ect. I really just need an Admin to help me out with this

Make sure you reload it after you paste it in, and if you have any other motd plugins, disable them or put it in their config.

Make sure you paste the MOTD in the right place (it'll be in your properties file). Restart the server and make sure your server and MOTD are up then verify it. Also make sure the IP you entered is also correct. If that doesn't work I'd suggest watching videos about it for a fix.

Yeah i know thats the one it is. Where it says the IP and you can click to join that is where it says the really long activation code. But it continually fails i really need an admin to help me confirm this in a non-automated way.

You need to restart your server or have a plugin that automatically changes your MOTD . Also make sure you're changing the right MOTD, as people tend to confuse it with the message they see in-game.

You should be changing the MOTD that you see in your server list, when you click "Multiplayer" on the main menu.

To check if you've actually changed your MOTD, just go to the Server list screen and look for your server, which should have the PMC code.
