Hey all of who's reading my post.
I would ask about domains in all your opinions in Minecraft Servers.
But the actual is: Does a domain for a Minecraft Server gives it popularity? Like I see any server with a domain is really popular.
What's your opinion? What would you say about it?

A proper DNS IP makes it easier for people to connect, making for a more populated server. You can get cheap domains from namecheap.
Domain = Looks professional and easier to remember (most of the time)
no-ip = Owned by someone who can't use domains properly
SRV records = No need for a dedicated IP, yet use a domain, shows intelligence. PM me if interested in any server side things.

All really popular servers have a domain because it's a worthwhile investment to make if you have hundreds of players. The main advantage is the ability to switch hosts without changing your IP, i.e. server.example.com. If you think that your server will stay up for a while, I would recommend buying a domain, since they aren't that expensive. I would also recommend a VPS for your hosting.
However, it is not the website that makes a server popular, but the server itself.

Hey! They can sometimes, If it's short like pvp.??? people will remember it! If domains are long like hdgjkfdghjdshfks.dfydhfgdj.net then they will make it less popular!
Just haveing a domain will not get it popular. You need to still post & advertise!~!

Your statement is incorrect. Domains are never random combinations of letters. They typically contain words, i.e. I remember this server domain: freebuildserver.net from years ago.
No. All a domain does is make it easier to remember. For instance, my server has been working on getting players for a while now, and it has a domain forwarded ip.
Hey,
I believe domains are better because many people will remember it easier than a number IP. For example, mc.hypixel.net is a memorable domain, other than loads of random numbers such as: 334.222.562:12345 (not a real server).
I really do recommend purchasing a domain. It will help your members out to remember the IP in case they lose it etc.
Kind regards,

That one ^
I really need more opinions, cause I want to choose if I buy a domain for my server or not.
A domain isn't what makes a server popular. Popular servers have domains, but that doesn't mean getting a domain will make your server popular. However, using a domain instead of an IP address for your server can make it look better and seem a bit more professional (especially if you buy your own domain; getting a subdomain, not so much).
Am asking: Does a domain for a Minecraft Server gives it popularity? Like I see any server with a domain is really popular.
Its only a nicer ip addres for a server the domain doesent realy matter

I tried reading your post twice and I still have no idea what you are asking. Try again?
