I don't know if I am in the right place.
I know they said help with people's servers, but I need help getting into one, when I try direct connect, it says
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information:
It started doing this after I changed my IGN on a server I already played. Maybe that is the problem. Can someone please help, this is all so confusing to me.

That error means your computer could connect, but did not finish. The server may be too far away.
Is this happening in one specific server or all servers you try to connect to?
It says it is online, I dunno, I tried to get on a server I never got on and it worked, it might be the server. Also I checked, and other people are on. This is all so confusing to me.
Usually, and issue like that is server-side not client. Are you sure the server is online?
