I don't know which mode to choose {HELP}
Hey guys,
So basically I got a MIneCraft server hosted by a company, they said in order for me to get Bukkit, Tekkit and what ever one I choose I need to e-mail them and then they will set it up for me, the problem is I don't know what one to choose.
From what I remember I thought Bukkit was shut down then got up again but they have a very late update for servers which I don't want.
So I'm asking if you guys could help me choose what to use, I would like something that is updated and has a lot of plugin variety. Something that most servers use.
I am confused on what these 'serverpacks' are actually called and what they do for all I know they just allow people to use plugins on their server, if someone could define it for me it would be great!

Do some research. See which one you like the best.
Well tekkit is a mod so if you have that mod then go for tekkit.
If not get bukkit where lots of people will be interested in playing.
