I have a question about server donations. I am currently 14 years old and setting up a 96-slot Minecraft server. I could get a PayPal if I wanted to. I've done some researching about legal parts of Minecraft server donations, and apparently I would have to pay income tax at a point and I would have to declare my earnings to the IRS..can someone fill me in on how I would possibly accept donations?

Naw man, Paypal will work. Though there is one setback. You will either need a parents credit or debit card, or possibly your own.

If you don't have the credit/debit card on your account you will have a limit to how much you can send/receive.

It won't really matter unless you are getting a decent amount of donations. Once you start gaining 4 digits a year, you'll probably want to report that, although many don't get anywhere near that. It also will depend on where you live and where your server is located. Also, avoid the term "donation." You're not running a charity and you "may" get in trouble for it. Pay pal and buycvraft.See when someone buy/donates they think they are buying things but really they are donating to help server performance and etc.... So due paypal and get a buycraft account.
Try not to call it a "donation" try to call it more of a "contribution"
