I have a server that took a few months but eventually got up to a average of 6 people on with many past players joining every so often but then I had to change the ip. Ever since than the server has had no one on at all. Im trying to bump but no one wants to joi na server with 0 or 1 person on. then when I finally get someone on they just ask for owner/ co owner then leave. What do you guys look for in a server when you join? I'm trying to get it started up again and interesting so comment below what you like to see/ do in a server.

I like the ideas of RPG server suggested by BleedCrimson and the survival minigames by CrazyHecticLife. Please keep these suggestions going im liking them1
Drop the PVP/ Factions and change it to vanilla survival and mini games. Everybody loves those servers.
if you need staff, usually asking for staff applications attracts people

I think your problem might be is that the type of server you run is pretty ordinary. A lot of people have PVP and factions servers. You could try adding something fresh to your server that might make it more unique.

You could try an RPG-like server. You can make things like towns, harbors, and gloomy dungeons. Make it casual enough to where you don't always have to be role-playing, but strict enough to give it a unique feel.
