1.6 ERROR PLEASE READ !
Mine says FATAL ERROR: Net.minecraft.bootstrap.FatalBootsTrapError: Unable to download while being forced at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.execute (Bootstrap. java: 83)

Please fix error and restart
so.. well PLEASE tell me if u know whats going on as usual I click download (im on windows) and I press run then It comes up with that downloading page the it says

Like it does at the top and btw this is my first post on the forum so yeah and IM DIEING TO PLAY 1.6 So if u have an idea to fix this PLEASE PM Me or comment on this page Thanks PS ive posted this abot 3 times and ive only got abot 1 answer on each of them Please give me something

Hey, I had the exact same problem. Instead of downloading the version for Windows (I have Windows 7), Minecraft.exe, I download the version for Linux/Other, Minecraft.jar . No clue what computer you have, but that has worked for me. I just made this account to tell you, because I understand the pain of "have you tried re-downloading it" from everyone. eve;;
Well, to check your latest Java version click this link here: http://www.java.com/verfiy This should check to see if your Out of Date or Up to Date, If it comes to a out of date software, It will tell you to download the latest version. Or you can update by clicking downloads and clicking Download Latest Version Here. Or you can just update your graphics card if that needed to?Well I updated java just recently and im trying to download the new one I just don't know what to check that has to be up to date
what were you downloading the new launcher or the old one or are you trying to play 1.6 already.

Wait? Is this on the new launcher or the old one? Because when they do things like this it sometimes doesn't on the past launchers. So I recommend, you to download the latest launcher available on the Minecraft site! Or this could be another graphical error? or maybe Java is out of date? Make you check if you have everything up to date before starting up Minecraft.
Well I updated java just recently and im trying to download the new one I just don't know what to check that has to be up to date
