Hey! im trying to get my own modpack to work and im currently just sorting out the mods that aren't compatable with each other. and ive come across the exit code of: -1073740791. i cant seem to find any documentation of this exit code anywhere. in the crash log it is saying that the actual forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2860.jar file is failing to pre-initialize. so i have no clue where to go from here, any help is appreciated ty!

Error codes don't actually mean much in Minecraft. Those codes are seemingly random and hardly ever help to diagnose the problem. Post the crash report (or, if you don't have one, the .minecraft/logs/latest.log file) here using something like Pastebin or paste.gg, as that actually describes what the problem you're having is.
This was a pretty common error for some time back in 2017. It had to do with buggy drivers for graphics cards. If you recently updated your drivers, it might be the same thing happening again.
