1.12 Fails to Download
So I went to play Minecraft for the first time in forever. I had to download 1.12. Originally I was running Minecraft through the Steam client. When I went to download it kept giving me errors on downloading .lang files, because "it is in use somewhere else". I tried to download through the official Minecraft client, but I kept getting the same errors. There shouldn't be a way that another program is using that same folder is there?

Delete steam then reinstall. Download the update on the Minecraft Launcher and you should be good to go:)
