Farther Render Distance?

Hey guys!
I'm currently building a large city in Minecraft, and there's this one thing that's REALLY frustrating me:

Render Distance.

I basically want to be able to see a LOT more chunks loaded up a lot faster, so I can see the whole view of the map.
I've installed Optifine and put the render distance on 32, and I've also put chunk loading on Multi-Core (Says it loads them faster) but I have yet to see much improvement.
Is there anything like a mod to load far away chunks faster?

This cannot be acheive with just optfine....

Heres what you need to do....

Get Cauldron or Spigot (either one of those is sufficient)
Spigot has entity and chunk tracking capabilities of which bukkit cannot do.

in your spigot.yml you can set the render distances for everything
entities / players / mobs /tiles
i have players to render at 256 and entities at 256, this allows people flying helicopters to be seen from miles away.

chunk load shoul be set to 128, of which bukkit is only 64.
any higher than this will cause lag for your players if they have low spec graphics cards.

hope this helps. but you can acheive some very far render distances, and if you have a gun server its great for a snipers with the long distance shots.

Put it on extreme render distance. It forces chunk loading out to your draw distance.
