I just found out a way, it's work for me so maybe for you too. Go to: " https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Down ... .pack.lzma" and download launcher.pack.lzma. Delete everything in your minecraft folder and put the lzma file in and open mc launcher. Voila, you are done
I only basically have one good world, and i saved that before i deleted the files
I forgot to say that i was in the process of installing forge when this happened. I deleted all my files and that is when i got the error. I think if someone could compress their minecraft file (mac) and give me the download link i could make it work
Run the following command in a terminal:
You can reach the Terminal by going to Applications > Utilities > Terminal. Alternatively, search for Terminal in the Finder.
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/{launcher.pack.lzma,launcher.jar}You can reach the Terminal by going to Applications > Utilities > Terminal. Alternatively, search for Terminal in the Finder.
After googling, i found that it seems to be a router problem.
Try running as admin, on and offline.

How do I run as admin on mac?
You might need to update your java version.
Re-download it from http://www.Minecraft.net
