Firewall blocking MC server?
I'm trying to set up a small server for my friends and me to play on. I have all the server files set up, and I can connect with localhost, but my friends can't connect with my IP (neither can I - only localhost). In my router settings, everything is portforwarded correctly. I narrowed it down to my firewall, because when I turned it off to test, it worked.
Obviously, I don't want to keep my firewall off, so I need to fix this. I did everything in this video. Things still weren't working, so I downloaded Comodo Firewall and disabled Windows Firewall, but it still did not work, so I got rid of Comodo. I just can't find a way to fix this. I'm using Windows Firewall on Windows 8.1, if that's any help.
I really want to get this server set up soon, so any advice would be highly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Remove your port forward...
then Re-add TWO port forwards....
1 for UDP
1 for TCP
dont even use a "Both" option or risk failing connections. this also means your firewall will most likely just block the traffic..
When your router determines that you require BOTH UDP and TCP port forwarding, they will no longer conflict.
