Flashing Torches

I was playing Minecraft earlier when there started to be 'Torches' Flashing Up Could Anybody Help Me?

There is a mod to fix this it worked for me no modloader needed!!

This glitch has been happening since the new 1.4.4 update.
There are a few ways you can stop this.
- You can turn your particles off by going into the video settings
- You can go into the texture pack you're using and delete the fire texture
Or, - You can wait until the next update comes out.
Also, there is another glitch/bug in the new update. LAN doesn't work. There is not solution to this other than waiting for the next update.
