Forge and Optifine for Minecraft 1.7>

Alrighty, i'm sure all modders and mod downloaders are asking "Where is Forge? Where is it?!". Well, from what I here the dudes and gals working on Forge is working their butts off with the new major MC changes. The codes have been rewritten, so they must rewrite theirs. But this was around October. It is now near the end of December, and i'm not seeing anything new about the situation. Are they still working on it, or am I searching in the wrong place? Please help!
