Forge installs as a word like document
AlaynawoodruffWhen I install forge it installs as a word document or something- it won't open it just bring me to the (open with) thing.
I tried opening it with microsoft but that didn't work(probably wasn't smart on my part) please help me!

Assuming you are using Windows operating system, try right-clicking on the file, choose the 'open with' option, navigate to
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_221\bin\java.exe
Your 1.8.0_221 might be different numbers depending on the version you have installed, but thats ok.

Okay i am confused. please send screenshots regarding forge installation. the fiels extension where you downloaded etc. so i can try and help you
