Is there anyway that I can have mods for different versions of minecraft? Like have world edit for 1.16, and have like old animations and stuff like that for 1.8? Because by default it wouldn't work, as those versions are incompatible and it always goes to the same mods folder?
(also, do this without a client like badlion or lunar)
Thanks!

The easiest way to do that would be to have separate installations for each version of Minecraft that you want to play on. Forge used to allow you to separate mods by creating folders inside of your mods folder, but that feature was removed in favor of entirely separate installations for each version.
