I have no idea what's happening and how to fix this. Every time I try to install forge, it doesn't show up in profiles in the minecraft launcher. When I try with the installers, it just says 'Successfully installed client profile forge for version forge 1.9-12.16.0.1811-1.9 into launcher', but when I go to the launcher, nothing is there. I have started minecraft in the desired version and I have even tried un-installing and re-installing, but the same thing happens every time. Does anyone know how to get forge to work for my minecraft??

it works for me, have you checked the bottom of the versions list?
