Forge Server Problems

Hi! I recently tried to create a 1.7.10 Forge Server with mods but I keep getting a "Mod rejected" error when joining. My client and server both have the same version of Forge, 1.7.10(even down to the .0000 numbers) and I can join the server fine with no mods installed. I even went to specifically finding a mod for my (.0000) version of Forge. Same error. What am I doing wrong? I've tried multiple Forge versions, re installed Java 7, re installed mine craft, followed 3 different tutorials...

Hey there!

Do you have the same mods installed on the client and the server?
Do the mods work in singleplayer?

Thanks

I didn't have any mods installed in my client, only in server. Do they need to be in my client also?

Yes, forge mods should be installed on both the client and the server. This however excludes client mods (TMI, NEI, OptiFine, etc...). Those should only be installed on the client.

Hope this helps!

Of course as I go to try your solution, I get "java.io.IOException: The handle is invalid" errors which I don't know how to fix...
