FPS DROP!
Hello, Fellow Minecrafters, I have had a sudden drop of FPS, Normally, My minecraft would get 60-80 fps without Optifine, Using Mods. And with optifine 100-110. But recently I was deleting some crap from my computer and it is currently scanning with Ad-Aware anti-virus, I will restart my PC when I am done but when I log into MC atm, I am with Optifine and I am getting a strange 4-17 fps, I don't need a new Graphics card etc, My PC is new
I think it is to do with the scan but if you think it is not, Tell me please.

When a virus-scanner looks through your PC, it's using a lot of PC resources to help itself find any adware, malware, spyware, etc. that your PC may have. Because of this, it's probably taking up CPU resources and possibly some RAM. Minecraft is a single-threaded game, so it runs mainly off of the CPU. Because of this, it's going to seriously affect the game if you're running a software that is also CPU intensive alongside with it.
